Sausage Divider for Miratorg

Slicing machine for sausage loaves at a 45° angle: precision, speed, and cleanliness in one solution

As part of a modernization project for sausage slicing and packaging, a sausage loaf divider with angled cutting at 45°–70° and 90° was installed. This solution automated slicing, increased packing speed, improved product appearance, and ensured strict hygiene compliance.

The Kosorez 45 confidently handles clipped products and delivers accurate, uniform cuts, reducing waste and enhancing the overall line efficiency.

What we implemented:

– Installed a sausage slicing machine for cutting loaves in half at angles of 45°–70° and 90°, adapted for both clipped and unclipped products.
– Integrated the equipment into a production line with a singulator, thermoformer, and label applicator, ensuring continuous automatic processing.
– Synchronized product delivery to dual-compartment trays, which accelerated packaging and maintained proper orientation of halves.
– Ensured safe slicing without casing damage thanks to precise geometry and a protected cutting module.

Benefits for the customer:

Reduced time spent on manual slicing and placing, thanks to full automation.
Improved hygiene, with no operator contact with the product.
Enhanced shelf appeal due to clean and consistent angled cuts.
15–20% increase in line productivity, enabled by stable throughput and synchronized feeding.
Flexibility for various product types: cooked sausage, cooked-smoked items, loaves with or without clips.

Precision

– Cutting tolerance does not exceed ±1% of the loaf’s weight, ensuring high accuracy and consistent results during portioning and packaging.

Product Savings

Integrated reject unit helps preserve product volume by minimizing losses due to weight deviations.
Smart cutting logic: if the loaf is underweight, the system cuts one half with a standard weight and sends it to packaging — instead of rejecting the entire loaf.
Next-generation equipment supports integration with systems for automatic half-loaf loading into thermoformers and tray packers.
